Day 27. June 21, 2007.
We began with breakfast at 7:00 AM. At 8:00 AM, Dr. Luke Froeb lead the Accelerator teams in a discussion on Economics.
At 9:30 AM, we gathered in the Averbuch Auditorium for the American Airlines (http://www.aa.com/ ) presentations. This particular project carries the most points for teams, so it's an important presentation.
At 11:00 AM, the American Team (Rob Britton, Advisor to the Chairman, Chris Koller, Chris Jarrard and Boyce Adams) made their choice: 1st Place: Team 1; 2nd Place: Team 4; 3rd Place: Team 2; 4th Place: Team 3; and 5th Place: Team 5.
Members of the winning team include: Emily Agostino, Cory Carpenter, Dhapleigh Denman, Mike DiBenigno, Lauren Dornfeld, William Hennessy, Rob Lindsay, Ray McGill and Hawk Sindel (Team Leader). The American Airlines team stayed for lunch to visit with the Accelerator participants and to discuss their suggestions.
After lunch, the teams met to work on the final portion of their HCA projects. Folowing this session, Dr. Steve Hoeffler held the final Marketing Session. He was followed by a presentation to the group by Dr. Nick Bollen to introduce MBA Finance to the Accelerator teams.
After dinner, the teams met to rehearse HCA. This will likely be our longest night ever since tomorrow we present to HCA, the 10th and Final Project of Accelerator 2007. At midnight, there were still over 20 Accelerator participants in team rooms working to finalize the presentation for HCA. There were a few who literally spent the night at Owen. What dedication.
